I am seriously on a whole new level of preoccupied-ness. Lesser PES time, sleep-overs, eating out etc. I have really never felt entrusted with such responsibility before.

But when he rest his head on my lap as he fall asleep, I suddenly feel that everything is worth it. And no, I am not gay.

Perth is damn cold right now! Landed in Perth on Monday morning after an unexpected detour to Darwin. First week been pretty good. healthy living. 9pm sleep and porridge to nurse my illness. hahah.

Not really in a mood to elaborate on anything. haha.

Holidays!

No more school for a month. Singapore for 3 weeks. Results in 2 weeks.

Yesterday we had a BBQ-Steamboat + horror movie marathon over at my place to celebrate Jeff's 21st! Me, Jiang, Nurul, Diana, Celestine, Audrey, Pek, Jeff and Frankie. Happy birthday, Joon Yee! We watched The Eye and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Quite scary only. hahah. We should have more hang out like this next sem!

Finished with econ1101 yesterday. acct1101 tomorrow and econ1111 on tues. last paper mgmt1135 on 17th.

Been studying with diana, sean, pek, jeff and celest at the new business school. Hope all this studying till 3am etc pays off despite many short/long breaks or dota or cs in between.

I feel so not stressed this time around during exams. Not because I have done consistent work throughout but more like I have gain +100 composure from all previous last minute sessions before exams. hahaha.

Well deserved winner of Britain's Got Talent 2009! I am so happy that they won instead of Susan Boyle. She is good, but not as good as Diversity! Thankfully common sense prevailed!

However my personal favourite of the night was Julian Smith, a saxophonist.

Bing

Well if you are wondering that the hell is Bing all about, I am afraid you are alittle behind time in the geek world. Bing is Microsoft's answer to google! However, it does more than that, it is a 'Decision Engine'. 

I think most of you are confused at this point. Bing is the new search engine by MS that seeks to revolutionize the way search engine work nowadays. Gone will be the days where you enter 'KFC' 'Hougang' and the search leads you to KFC website and some houses for rent in hougang nonsense. With Bing, it is suppose to tell you the location of all the KFC outlets in Hougang, their quality ratings, opening hours etc. It is like getting answers from God himself! 

It is as if someone is responding to your enquires personally, searching through the net for info and replying you within seconds! amazzzzzzzing ( if it works ) So check out www.bing.com in a couple of days when they offically kickstart the search engine. 

You can try Bing-ing 'Liverpool League Title' and it is suppose to tell you 'Last league title won was 19 years ago, Man Utd is the current winner'. Just joking YNWA fans. 

Hello Winter

It finally feels like winter now in Perth. I went to Kmart yesterday with D and I bought myself a heater and a flask having previously felt that i could pull through with thick clothings and an extra blanket. Well i might but there are days where ya just do not feel like being-cold-from-the-moment-ya-open-ya-eyes-till-ya-close-ya-eyes.

Newcastle United was relegated from BPL last sun. Well, if i remember correctly, they were the first BPL(EPL) team i watched play on the sports channel they use to have on TV maybe 10 years ago. So I did felt a tinge of sadness at the final whistle. It was even worst with Alan Shearer being my first favourite soccer player leading them down as their manager. (It was obviously not his fault but.. ) Goodbye Magpies. Ya were a joy to watch till Mike Ashley came along. 

CL Finals in 24h time. I wish I could be there in the Eternal City tomorrow watching the dream finals for almost all soccer fans. Unless you are some mad liverpool or arsenal fan of course. Well I have a couple of such friends. hahah. Goodluck to Utd!

Hell Week

Today is my FA assignment dateline, tomorrow is my OB assignment dateline, Micro assignment is due on wednesday and Quants assignment is due on thursday. Nice. FML!

On a totally different note, I am really puzzled over two issues. Should Utd sign Tevez and should Utd let Ronaldo go. More and more fans are leaning towards signing Tevez and accepting the fact that Ronaldo is getting way bigger than the club itself. But I really beg to differ. NO player is bigger than Sir Alex or the club itself as proven with past Utd favorites like Beckham, Van Nistelrooy and even Roy Keane. But when you talk about Ronaldo, you are talking about a world player of the year. We are talking about someone that earns the club freekicks, score freekicks from you name it distance and averages more than 20 goals a season. He is also a big game player scoring in the CL finals last season, quarter-finals and semi-finals this season. So, I think it is really important that he stays. No matter how idiotic he is at times, how much he dives and complain and openly shows his anger when being substituted, he is a match winner. Tevez is a fan favourite because of his work rate. And it is solely because of it. His returns is normal for a good striker and he is not very versatile. He is exactly like Rooney except that Rooney is way better than him in all aspects. 30million for him is not worthwhile. He is a good player to have but only if he is cheaper and willing to sit on the bench for the team. Man Utd need to get a decent left winger or Tosic/Nani need to step up and show themselves worthy of the left wing. This would free Rooney up when Utd is playing 4-4-2. Rooney is playing way too much on the left. But well it is up to the boss. Trust in the boss is the best policy as demonstrated throughout the years. 

Why did i type all those rubbish? hahah. Must be essay writing making me go bonkers. zzzz.

KO-ed

We celebrated Frankie, Azimah and Sean's 21st over the weekend. I KO-ed for the second time but this time I was not the first. hahaha. No thanks to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

I puked all over Stig when he was puking in the toilet. So so so sorry man! Ended up sleeping shirtless without blankets with fellow KO-ees Pek, Sean, Victor, Stig and Jeff at a certain point or another. 

Oh well, all for the joy and fun.

Two essays due next week. Damnit I better get starting!

Boring Draw

I just wasted 90mins of my life watching chelsea stubbornly refuse to attack. 

On a side note, the weekends was a memorable one with my first try at paintball, my first being the first to get KO-ed and my first swim in perth! More on that when I'm freeeee.

Easter Break

This easter break is as good as a study break. Though i kind of regret not studying more. Took my FA test last sat morning and i hope i did not fare too badly. hahah. Just trying to relax these two days before i start studying for my micro test next friday. Then, FA assignment, OB assignment, Mirco assignment and finally the main exams. 

Looking forward to the paintball session this sat. A bit of post exam relaxation period. hahah.

Easter

Been staying over at Jeff and my gf's place these days. Pek went back to singapore to enjoy all the good food. Exams this sat and next friday. Assignment deadlines after that. Nothing interesting to update. hahah. Will try to update more when i have the time! Happy Easter everyone!

Busy Busy Busy

This weekend was really packed and hectic. Weekend for me starts on thursday as I have no lessons on friday. hahah. Well on Thursday, we went to fish and crab again. It was kind of rushed so only Audrey joined us. We did not prepared well enough and thus we only reached the place at about 7pm and there was like alot of people there taking up all the good spots. So we got owned big time by the China dudes there. We only caught 1 crab compared to their 10+ crabs. lol. It was a miserable return considering our previous 23 crabs. But well, at least we caught a big crab for Audrey. We will be back soon and no mercy next time.

On friday, I barely had enough sleep before i had to get ready to meet frankie and co. Sorry la Frankie, singaporeans are always late. LOL. I picked up Diana and met them slightly later than planned. We went to Harbour Town for some budget shopping and we headed to Taka for some Jap food. We told the salesgirl that Frankie's acne problem was due to puberty. HAHAHA.

After that we headed to UWA for some lame mahjong competition. Like 8 out of 20 of the people playing are from our group of friends. Thus we gathered forces to ensure Pek gets the most token and thus emerge as the champion and he received $40 in cash prizes. The money was spend on a carton of beer for our late night impromtu gathering/mahjong session over at Jeff and Sean's place. Ended up sleeping over there and left in the afternoon after lunch. We should have more gatherings! 

After I came home, I slept for like 3 hours and I went to Sing's place for a surprise birthday party for his bro, Daniel, with Pek and Nicholas. Diana did not join us because she had to study. Daniel discovered the surprise-ers before they surprise him. hahah. We watched some EPL matches in his kick-ass theatre room and played some drinking games beside his pool. It is always nicer to hang around Singaporeans in foreign land i suppose. 

I will not go out tomorrow! (cause i got to read up abit on econ1111 for my test on friday)

Homemade Lunch

Diana made some glutinous rice into a sushi on monday. hahah. We had it for lunch on monday.

Played some games on my itouch.

And obviously i won. haha.

A short post. nothing exciting except for mambo last night. haha. will write a post when i get the pics. 

Went crabbing and fishing on friday with pek, diana, jeff and sean. The weather was damn bad which means that it was the best weather to catch crabs. hahah. Reach there about 5.30pm and waited till the rain to subside before we proceed to the jetty. 

Cast the nets and we got one crab from our first attempt! hahah. We braved through the extremely cold weather and erratic rain. Did not manage to catch any fish due to the big waves ( or so we tell ourselves ). But we caught 23 crabs in total! Jeff and Sean took a few back and we gave some away and me and pek finish the rest. It was damn shiok. The crabs were big and sweeet. hahah. definitely worth braving through the monstrous weather. hahah

Well unless your nose got caught by the crabs.

Monday Blues

This is my latest toy! haha. (mum, i did not abuse your funds) This is actually my birthday present from my girlfriend! thanks bee! I am now officially addicted to taptap revenge 2. 

This weekend was spend mostly with friends. Mj-ed with Pek, Brandon and Frankie Soh on Thurs as we did not have lessons on friday. Played till we were quite shag and we went for supper at macs in Vic Park. Wanted to bring them to Icey Ice but well, they decided to close earlier than their closing hours.

Went over to Sing's house with Diana and Pek on friday. Then, we went for mee siam at my girlfriend's place. Sing was dying due to the spicyness of the mee siam. hahahah. After that, Sing came over and leeched our internet from about 10pm on Fri till 8 pm on Sat. hahaha. The picture below is evidence of him leeching our internet for his WOW's Ggodlay.

Coldplay Concert

I went to coldplay's concert in perth at burswood dome with pek, my cousin and her friends on my birthday! hahah. It was my first time going to a coldplay concert and i had high expectation due to constant rave reviews from sally. I must say i was very impress and left yearning for more of coldplay! Chris Martin was charismatic as usual, Will Champion sang a song, Johnny Buckland was cool and Guy Berryman was awesome. 

The concert hit was at its loudest during yellow, the hardest part and the scientist! The visual effects was outstanding and it was really gooooood! Especially during Lovers in Japan! There were like hundred thousands of paper cut butterfly falling from the top. hahah. I urge all my singapore friends to go for their Singapore concert!

First Week of School

Today is the last day of my first week of school. hahah. No lessons on fridays so it is an extented weekend everyweek. It is a bonus considering I had to declare my own four day study week in CJC but it is part of my timetable in UWA. I must say that I am really glad to be finally studying again. Not as in studying studying, but studying as in going to a place and learning new things, knowing new people etc. It is weird seeing more ang mohs than asians around me but well, it is part and parcel of overseas university life. 

The people here are more causal and relaxed. Lectures are non-complusary and you got to be discilpine and have self motivation to do well!  My financial accounting lecturer looks like Borat and my organization behaviour lecturer told us to write our goals on a piece of paper and to fold it into a paper plane and throw it down to her. She picked up all of the planes herself when class ended. hahah. Everything in UWA is expensive except for the view. haha. Tutorials start next week and hopefully I will get to know more people!

I am going to Coldplay's concert this saturday at Burswood! woooooooo.
