today is 29 feb, the leap day. i was almost born on this day 20 years ago. luckily my mum made it in time. hahah. or i would be 5 and not 20 years old this year.

well did you know that there used to be a tradition in the west that women can only propose to men on leap days and if refused by the man, a fine would be levied on them. thus there is an modern inferred belief that it is lucky for women to propose to men on leap days, since women are more straightforward and daring now as compared to before.

tomorrow is the 42nd signal anniversary but it is held today at stagmont camp due to the the fact that tomorrow is a saturday. hahah. offical 'twang' day plus half day for most of us signallers. there was games, performance etc. ended about 12 and we left to 'celebrate signal anniversary on our own'. lol.
